This notice covers the Site Intelligence website at siteintelligence.app — this landing page. The Site Intelligence application has its own handling of the information you put into it, which is described separately. [Link to the application's privacy notice, once written.]

What this website collects

This website has no forms, no account sign-up and no analytics or advertising code. The only personal information it asks for is your device's location, and only if you choose to share it. That location stays on your device (see below).

What happens when you visit

• Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it receives the technical details of each request — such as your IP address and browser type — in order to deliver the page. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how it handles that information.
• Fonts. The page's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them. Google receives your IP address and browser details when it does. See Google's privacy policy for how it handles that information.
• Sign-in check. The page asks the Site Intelligence application whether you are already signed in, so the button can read "Dashboard" instead of "Log in". If you have signed in before, your browser sends the application's own sign-in cookie with that request. The answer is used only to change the button label; this website does not keep it.
• Your location, if you allow it. To show the sample assessment for your own council, the page asks your browser for your device's location, and your browser asks you first. If you allow it, the location is matched to a council on your device. The page then downloads the council boundaries and sample results for your state, which tells our host only which state's files were requested. Your location is not sent to us or anyone else, and it is not stored. If you decline, the page shows a sample from four states instead.
• Day or night mode. If you use the switch at the top of the page, your choice is saved in your own browser so the page remembers it next time. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
